Could really feel it working my quads. Slightly mucked up the session though as I was intending a twenty minute steady warm up before 3 sets of 5min hard plus 5min harder with a ten minute warm down to finish - I should add that there is absolutely no science to anything I do. Silly me got carried away reading the news so it ended up being only 2 sets instead of 3. Definitely going to get back into doing bike intervals. Back in the day the hour interval session really paid dividends on the mountains. Abs and core to finish.
It has been a good start to the year as week four of the comeback draws to a close. Bring on week five...
