My calf muscle still felt a tiny bit tight before I started the session but not enough to stop me. Mind you, it feels proper tight now. Anyway, it was good to finally run the session. 8 two minute reps at 3:30min/km pace off 90s recovery - although I did require an extra 15s recovery for the last two reps and even then my heart rate didn't fully recover.
Felt good to run 3:30 pace. Even if only on the treadmill. I don't think my legs have moved as quick for years. I wasn't even sure they were capable of moving that quick but they were and they did. I finished with 45 on the bike. Now off to gently stretch the old pegs...
