Climaxing in a quick yank - sssh, no, stop it - on the fine nosed tweezers to finally rid me of the evil shard of glass. It was about 3mm wide and 5mm deep so there was little chance of it breaking free the surface all by itself. Anyway, that's all in the past now. It's a little sore but with a day to settle I'm back in business for race four from 'the list' - BOK Orienteering at Brierly. Never have I been more stir crazy to get out there and run to get the 'race myself fit' training campaign underway...
